The Cooks recently had the pleasure of dining at the well-established 'La Bruschetta'. Located on the south side of St. Clair Avenue West, this unassuming eatery presents outstanding quality and wholesome home cooked dishes. Owners Benito and Franca Piantoni along with their daughters, Silvia and Brenda collectively run a family operation not to be missed.

In the heart of the city, uptown Toronto has opened up a 'gem' with a unique spin on what they refer to as "A Modern Seafood Experience." The Cooks were treated to an unbelievable meal--one sure to be repeated soon.

We were met by a vibrant and attentive staff, knowledgeable of their product which made our evening all the more enjoyable. We had the pleasure of being served by Marianna, a true asset to the operation.

There’s a hidden gem on Eglington West. It’s easy to miss from outside, but inside it is impossible to forget. It’s a place where the chefs are passionate about preparing true Italian food, where the Sommelier is earnest in his belief that all food tastes better with the appropriate wine, and where even a rainy Wednesday night sees it full of loyal customers. This place is called Il Mulino Ristorante.
